We print at sizes that carry across a room, on lightweight materials that are easy to transport and display on an easel or stand.

And for every day after

Unlike a photo board, a mosaic is not put away. After the service it hangs in the family home as a lasting portrait. Families often order smaller prints of the same mosaic afterwards, so siblings and grandchildren each keep one.

Questions families often ask

How many photos do we need for a celebration of life display?

Around fifty photos make a beautiful mosaic display; a few hundred make a richer one. Open a shared online album and send the link to family and friends — photos usually arrive within hours, including pictures the closest family has never seen.

How far in advance do we need to order?

Order as soon as the date is set. You will see a full preview quickly, and printing plus delivery typically takes about a week. If your service is sooner than that, email hello@mosaicofalife.com with the date — we will tell you honestly what is possible and do everything we can to meet it.

Do old prints and mixed-quality photos work for the display?

Yes — photograph or scan old prints with a phone and add them alongside recent pictures. Because each photo becomes a small tile within the portrait, faded or imperfect images sit comfortably next to sharp ones, and the mix of decades is what makes the display feel like a whole life.
